Online Disability Awareness Training

Our Online Disability Awareness Training course will fully equip you to confidently interact with and serve disabled people with sensitivity and tact. Our disability awareness course will give you and your staff everything you need to develop a competent, confident attitude to providing excellent service to people who identify with disability. This disability awareness course is completed online via our specialised training suite.

Let’s be clear, people with disabilities are just regular individuals – family members, friends, service users, professionals, colleagues, managers and customers. The importance of workplace disability awareness training cannot be underestimated.

Many people feel awkward when communicating and assisting people with disabilities, as they don’t wish to offend. Sometimes, they may just ignore the person, or panic. There really is no need for this to happen. Although it’s understandable, it’s not the optimal way to provide exemplary customer service, or to present to the world your organisational perspective of disabled people. However, with our disability awareness training online course we can challenge preconceived ideas and inspire new ways of thinking that will re-educate staff and employees.

This training is for general disability awareness, but we also offer specialised packages for Online Visual Impairment Awareness Training and Deaf Awareness Training.

Most people have good intentions and really want to get things right, so we’ve developed this interactive and engaging online course that will leave you feeling confident, empowered and motivated when it comes to interacting with people with disabilities.

There are over 14 million people currently living in the UK with a disability, of which around 5 million are active in the workplace. So let’s break down those barriers together!
