This short film follows one person who has not told anyone at work about their sight loss, and the kind response they find when their manager simply asks how they are.

Nobody at work knows. I read everything twice. I take work home so nobody sees how long it takes me. I am not tired. I am frightened. If I say I cannot see properly, will they think I cannot do my job?
Then my manager asked how I was. Really asked. So I said it. “I am struggling with my sight.” She said, “Thank you for telling me. What would help?”
I had a workplace assessment. They looked at my job, my screen, the lighting and the layout. A few practical changes, set up properly for me. For the first time in a long time I can breathe out. If this is you, you do not have to carry it alone.
A workplace assessment looks at the job, the screen, the lighting and the layout together, so the right practical changes can be set up in a way that suits the individual.
